South Hole Descriptions

 

1.                 This difficult starting hole demands a straight, long tee shot.  This narrow green that is sloped from front to back leaves a difficult putt no matter where you land on the green.

2.                 This par 3 with a hazard down the left side puts a premium on hitting the green.  The bunker will collect any balls hit by players trying to be too conservative.

3.                 A dog leg right par 5 that is reachable for the long hitters.  The main problem is trying to find the correct line to the green for your second shot.  Any shots that miss the green to the right will find the long, deep rough.  There are also green side bunkers on the left to collect any shots that miss the green to the left.

4.                 This 90 degree dog leg left requires a straight tee shot to set up a shot to the green.  The water on the right definitely comes into play on your second shot.  The green is fairly big, but has many breaks which makes a close shot to the pin a must.

5.                 This hole is possibly the toughest driving hole on the course.  A small landing area leaves no room for error from the tee.  A long, narrow green with two tiers and a grass bunker in front makes the second shot very difficult even if you are in perfect position off the tee.

6.                 The sixth hole is not the longest, but poses numerous challenges.  O.B. down the left makes a straight tee shot a must and the green has a pot bunker on the front right.  The green has a huge ridge that almost makes it like two different greens.  If you aren't in the right area, you are in trouble.

7.                 This par 4 has a green that for the long hitter is reachable.  If you are brave enough to try and carry your tee shot over 275.  O.B. down the left and water to the right makes a straight tee shot an absolute must for a chance at par.

8.                 This par 3 requires a tee shot that must reach the green.  The pond in front will
